Welcome to my website. A lifetime fascination of how the human body heals and the various elements that go into wellness took me into the offices of doctors, surgeons and medical clinics. For the record, I nearly made it into an operating room until we all realized I have an aversion to the smell of betadine. I was invited to quietly pass out where I wouldn’t trip anyone.

My personal beliefs represent a microcosm of the larger divisiveness that is currently taking place in Western medicine. As the American populace searches for a balance of total health and wellness, they are often at the mercy of their physician's belief system. My writing explores both sides of this hotly debated issue with passionate, dynamic characters who weave complex threads into each other's lives.

Take a look around. I have a collection of my Amazon photos where I spent 17 bug-filled days traipsing in the Peruvian jungle with Patty Webster’s Amazon Promise. This group of medical volunteers travels 120 miles upriver to provide aid to the villagers that eke out a meager existence along the river. This experience provided me with valuable hands-on research for my second book, Donovan’s Impasse, as well as a lifelong respect for heat-seeking mosquitoes.  There are still questions regarding my sanity.
